Location
The beds (in both rooms we were placed in) were too hard, not firm, but hard. We had no window in the second room we were placed except a skylight that allowed light in at 5am. The shower water temperature never was hot, just luke warm, in both rooms. Upon check in the price told to me was about $80 per night higher than my reservation price. This was corrected. The first room did not have full cable & the subway sounded like it was right below our room. We will not stay there again.

It was spacious and modern and very well located. We went with Hotel Verite based on a review we saw on line from another family with small children. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of children we saw and enjoyed the free breakfast. The juice and coffee were good! The staff was friendly and helpful.
It was a bit more expensive than I had hoped. We were making last minute reservations and the location and availability to fit my family of 4 was enough for us to pay about $75 more than we had hoped. I would only stay there again if I could get the same room at a lower price.

Good room for the money and great location for my meetings. Continental breakfast in lobby a nice feature.
Nice tv, but cable system lacking basic channels like espn, cnn, cnbc, msnbc, and wireless signal very weak. Not ideal.

Great location for Manhattan shopping, foodies and airport proximity everything was brand new. They offer a very nice & simple continental breakfast in the lobby each morning if you are in a hurry...........Pleasant staff but they are not that knowledgeable or speak limited English
As they are a fairly new operation there are some growing pains, we were all awakened at 3.30am because the fire alarm was set off by someone maliciously, with street access to it !! They had all their ac switched off to accommodate a fire inspection the next day. Additionally they have this new electric access/system with bright blue, flashing lights in the hallways, this can set off your inside hall light coming on in the middle of the night if someone walks too close to your room. Then in your room a solid just as bright version with no cover on it so that's annoying. The TV's are not set up yet with channels that are programmed and so you need to go through 800 to find one that works. They should consider minibars or small fridges for stays of 2 nights or more

I think that they need to set up the cable network differently- it was hard to navigate the channels, and there were not a lot of channels.

A very comfortable room at a reasonable price. (I had read in a couple of online reviews that the beds were too hard; for me, the bed was perfect.) Nice staff. And I like the Flatiron District location.
My room had a small skylight but no windows. The high-tech lighting system was unnecessarily complicated. There was muffled noise from the subway below. It didn't prevent me from sleeping, but I was aware of it.

Kind services and lively location. Facilities are limited but other than that it was great.
Had a room with only a window facing upwards. Thus limited the coziness of the room.
